At Bee The BanhMi, our mission is to bring the authentic taste of Vietnam right here to Calgary. Every pho, banh mi, and vermicelli bowl is crafted to reflect the rich culinary traditions of Vietnam. We carefully import key ingredients directly from Vietnam, staying true to the roots of authentic Vietnamese cooking. Our pho broth is enhanced with dried peanut worm, a rare delicacy that naturally enriches the broth with sweetness and umami depth. We also source spices from Huế, the historic imperial city of Vietnam, famous for its vibrant chili peppers and bold flavors. These unique spices give our dishes an unmistakable kick, perfectly balancing heat, aroma, and authenticity. Paired with fresh local produce and southern-style touches like oxtail, bean sprouts, and aromatic herbs, our menu captures both Northern purity and Southern richness in every bite. Feeling hungry? This is the ultimate vermicelli experience — all three proteins grilled to perfection and served over fresh vermicelli noodles, crisp veggies, and herbs. What makes it truly special? We serve it with two sauces: the classic Vietnamese fish sauce for brightness, and our signature house-made peanut sauce in the center — a bold, creamy touch you won’t find at most places in Calgary. Our signature Bee Classic is inspired by the heart of Vietnam, where Da Nang and Huế meet to create bold, unforgettable flavors. OR Choose your protein — grilled pork, beef, chicken, or tofu — each marinated and flame-grilled to perfection. Every banh mi is layered with silky pâté, our house-made Vietnamese mayo infused with shallot, and the essential pickled carrots & daikon for that perfect crunch. To make it truly yours, customize the heat with up to four spice options — Sate, Jalapeño, Sriracha, and fresh Thai chili peppers. Mix and match, or take them all if you dare.
